Tony Forward
FIMgt., FNAT |
|
In 1987 Tony Forward won a national competition for humourous
after-dinner speaking but has enjoyed praise and acknowledgement as one of the
most popular speakers in the UK since 1979.Tony has
spoken on the after-dinner circuit at many and varied functions in the UK,
Europe, USA and New Zealand. After his retirement as a
senior policeman, during which time his fees for speaking were donated to
charity, he continued performing and has gained an enviable reputation for his
humour and anecdotal style. At his speaking engagements
Tony often tells of his early days as a policeman and these stories are
humourously linked to the occasion either in response on behalf of the guests or
as a talk entitled "A funny thing happened on the way to the station".
He can be relied upon to be suitable for any audience, mixed
or otherwise. He is never blue and has a style which is comfortably anecdotal
rather than one-liners. He has the experience and skill to blend with his audience,
to give them the after-dinner speech that will keep them laughing long after the
event has ended.
